LC APC SM Pigtail Fiber Optic 0.9mm LSZH 1M
FPAJCIIDEZZ-0012-00
SM LC ACP pigtail is suitable for optical fiber fusion splicing in industrial or FTTX installations. The APC polish increases the return loss value to 60db, which conforms to the TIA/EIA-604-10 standard, guarantees high return loss and low insertion loss. The pigtail fiber optic can be applied to single-mode fiber-optic networks, including CATV type FTTH, FTTB, and FTTP systems.
Fiber single mode fiber cords and pigtails provide application interconnection and cross-connection through the installation of entrance facilities, telecommunication equipment rooms, and data centers to meet the requirements of Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and high-speed fiber telecommunication.
We provide a variety of single-mode and multi-mode fiber jumpers and fiber pigtails, contact us for complete product information.
The Single-Mode Optic Fiber Support 10G / 25G / 40G / 100G Application:
- 10G Ethernet speed can reach 40 kilometers at 1550nm (10Gbase-ER)
- 25G Ethernet speeds up to 40 kilometers at 1550nm (25Gbase-ER)
- 40G Ethernet speeds up to 40km (40GBase-ER4)
Features
- Low Insertion Loss: 0.2dB
- High Return Loss: 60dB
- Ideal for Fiber Optic Communication System.
- Meets FOCIS and TIA/EIA-568-B.3 standards.

The Difference of Single-Mode (SM) and Multi-Mode (MM) Fiber
- The core diameter of single-mode fiber is much smaller than multimode fiber, the single-mode fiber core diameter is 9µm; the single-mode fiber wavelength is 1310 nm and 1550 nm.
- Multimode fiber core diameter: 50µm or 62.5µm. 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths are used in multimode fiber cables.
Transmission distance is the key to choosing single-mode or multi-mode fiber, for data centers, multi-mode fiber optic cables are sufficient to meet the distance of 300 - 400 meters. In applications that require distances of up to several kilometers, single-mode fiber is the best choice.
Fiber Path Cord Polish Matters
The light loss will occur when a connector is installed, yet some will cause damage to laser light and disrupt the transmitted signal. Choosing the well polish connector will reduce the back reflections of light.
- PC: Physical Contact polish with -35dB Return Loss measurement
- UPC: Ultra Physical Contact polish with -55dB Return Loss measurement
- APC: Angled Physical Contact polish (8-degree angle) with -60dB Return Loss measurement
Can I mix single-mode and multi-mode fiber?
The core sizes of multimode fiber and single-mode fiber are different, and the transmitted light mode is also different. If two optical fibers are mixed or directly connected together, a large amount of optical loss will be lost, resulting in link jitter or disconnection. Remember, never mix different types of cables randomly.
