Cat.6 STP 110 type RJ45 coupler featured in bulkhead design for last on the panel to create a watertight seal. Also it is consisted of 50 micron gold plated contact pins, included dust cap protects the shielded RJ45 jack from dust, debris and moisture when not in use.
IP68 rated series products are not only 100% protected against dust, but also able to endure immersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes with no damage or decline in performance. IP Rating: An abbreviation from "Ingress Protection" classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects like dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures. It's consisted of two digits (numbers) representing "solid" and "liquid" protection.
First Digit (Solid): Indicate the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts (e.g., electrical conductors, moving parts) and the ingress of solid foreign objects. The level start from 0 to 6, classified seven ratings, and the larger number you have, more protective to your item.
Second Digit (Liquid): Protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against harmful ingress of water. The level start from 0 to 8, classified nine ratings, and the larger number you have, more protective to your item.
