  Alien Crosstalk is a major concern in Cat.6a cabling. Alien crosstalk is the interference occurred by a pair of wires in one cable inducing noise into other pairs of wires in adjacent cables in cabling wiring. U/UTP: Unshielded twisted pairs, referred to UTP. It's the most common cable construction, consisting of no shielding twisted wires to create balanced transmission line.

F/UTP: Foiled with unshielded twisted pair, referred to FTP. It's featured in an overall foil shield wrapped around unshielded twisted pairs.

S/FTP: Shielded with foiled twisted pair, referred to PiMF or S/STP. The twisted pairs are wrapped in a foil tape before being wrapped in an overall flexible braid screen.
